The Alu Media Wall by Design Within Reach solves a very practical problem with flat-panel TV’s, they look great on the wall but how about if your walls can’t support it or you’re landlord won’t let you or you can’t be bothered? Well the media wall releaves you of that stress, mount any flat panel up to 50” on this badboy and enjoy a modern finish your flatpanel deserves. At $1400 this luxury doesn’t come cheap though which, having said that, isn’t out of this world for AV furniture, i've seen some really expensive stuff which to look at really didin't look very different from Argos stuff.

Talk about squeezing loads of stuff into a small space this kitchen is like one of those octopi that slips itself into an appearingly impossible space. This British post box looking contraption crams the basic kitchen storage and appliances into a space of 1.8sqm. The circular kitchen includes the storage capacity of 12 cupboards, and can be outfitted with a variety of built-in or stand-alone appliances, depending on your choice of model. Spatial efficiency anyone?

Comes installed with Windows Media Center Edition 2005, a Blu-ray Disc recorder, DVI and HDMI outs, 7.1 channel audio with SPDIF optical out, and a hybrid analog and digital DVB-T TV tuner as well as a cavernous 1 Terabyte media hungry belly.

Bottoms up chaps, even for your doorbell
A healthy dose of innovation and pretentiousness here, this doorbell is made up of an electromagnet, a hammer and two crystal glasses but you better hope they’re all high quality components weighing in at $235. I suppose that adds to the “haha-don’t-cha-ya-know-darling” value of it. How marvellous!
