'BlackBook': laptop porn

BlackBook laptop, the best looking laptop in the world ever

We don’t usually report on laptops here at High Tech Home Mag, it’s a little off point but hot damn! how could I possibly not draw your attention to this jaw dropping stunner, if it had legs and walked along the pavement it would fast become the no. 1 cause of all road traffic accidents. Before you completely saturate your keyboard with drool this is still at concept stage and no news of whether if it will ever go into production.

The ‘BlackBook’ is the creation of Jaren Goh, designer of the Sony Ericsson Black Diamond and Obelisk 2 PS3 concept. With its gloss finish and chrome edges this laptop ties luxury and style into one big triple knot. The lines of the indented tiled keypad integrates seamlessly into the main body while a TFT screen on the topside replaces a physical logo allowing for graphic customisation.

Please someone put this into production, rip off the design if you have to, any price you want, I’ll get a mortgage or sell my arm if I have to.

Piano shaped table for those who can play Ipod

The Concerto Table by Lovegrove & Repucci

The piano has always been an iconic piece of furniture however for those who were not fortunate enough for our parents to force us to learn at an early age, most of us do not know how to play. The Concerto Table now means you don’t have to miss out on enjoying its dramatic form in your living space, it is a multipurpose dining table built in the shape of a piano. It features a mounted base and speaker system for your iPod, simply open the sound lid in the center of the table to reveal two surface mounted speakers. You can also use this space for storage so the table doubles nicely as a home office desk. “When You Play Host Better Than You Play Piano” what a great strapline for a great product.

Monitor the pulse of your home

Home Heartbeat

At some point or another we’ve all left the house in a mad rush and later worry if we remembered to close the back door, switch off the electric heater, or turn off the garden sprinkler for example. Well if you are the forgetful type then the Home Heartbeat System may be for you. It allows you to remotely monitor a number of these things through a water sensor, a power sensor, etc. which then keeps you up to date through a keychain fob that displays the status of these sensors.

Cost is unknown although the Home Hearbeat System should be available soon.
